The objective of the Group Care Facilities program is to ensure that minimum standards are met regarding sanitary health and safety practices related to the construction, operation and maintenance of various group care facilities in order to minimize the risk of transmitting disease and injury among the disabled, elderly, children, residents, employees, and visitors to these establishments.
